Around my house we had Mad Magazine and Erma Bombeck&#039;s &#039;If Life Is a Bowl of Cherries, What Am I doing in the Pits?&#039; books to read from. For a time, both resources served me well in the humor department till my parents both informed me that my little comments were only cute the first time. Ah, the teen years...

I have a few relationships based on sarcasm. If I think about them hard enough (which this post is requiring me to), there&#039;s been some moments of hurt feelings and silence from the &quot;witty&quot; banter. Thanks for the food for thought.</description>

		<description>I agree that sarcasm doesn&#039;t age well. I hadn&#039;t really thought about it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I guess that being honest and straight forward works best for communication. I&#039;ll just have to use my witty retorts in kinder gentler ways.</description>
