Wow, Connie!
This sounds so familiar. It makes me smile to know that women all over the world are drinking and/or eating with their close-to-the-heart-far-from-the-hand girlfriends! I drink from Georgia to Arizona to Kansas to Alabama (that’s just a shot, though)and, as wisdom dictates, sometimes it’s tea, sometimes moonshine, but always, always friends.

Martinis are my fave and having a martini date with my pal Connie is da bomb! I’m one of the lucky ones to have jumped on board early.

Now, another tradition that keeps me connected to my good pals is the monthly meal. Even though we live in the same city, with travel, families, work and life, sometimes weeks go by without face-to-face gal pal contact. So, I’ve established the monthly dinner. More often then not we make it happen and try to schedule the next one right then and there. Inspired by my sis-n-law. It’s a keeper.
